Katydid (nymph)

Katydid (nymph)

Its body is 4 mm long (excluding antennae and legs). While my initial guess was that this is a katydid, it certainly bears a strong resemblance to the Speckled Bush Cricket (Leptophyes punctissima); that cricket, seems to be a well-known European (and UK) species, but I've found no mention of North American sightings. Possibly, confusion arises from the fact that these are called "katydids" (not "crickets") in NA.
