Our flight's late-afternoon arrival in Beijing left only enough time for dinner
in the hotel restaurant and a glimpse out our hotel window before retiring.
The next morning, there was time for a quick look around the neighborhood before
boarding our bus for a tour of the nearby Temple of Heaven (photos in the next galley).
