San Francisco at Twilight
San Francisco skyline (as seen from Treasure Island) soon after sunset on December 30, 2014. This was taken at about 30 minutes past sunset, a time regarded as "Civil Twilight".
Nine exposures were combined to make the panorama, which is approximately 125 degrees wide. From left to right, the view begins the tip of Yerba Buena Island (serving as mid-point of the Oakland-SF Bay Bridge) and extends along the city skyline all the way to the Marin Headlands, which anchor the north end of the Golden Gate Bridge on the far right. The bright lights near the right edge are from the dock at Alcatraz Island.
